Learning with School Populo is different than with classical language schools. We offer only one-on-one language courses, i.e. one student per tutor. This teaching method brings huge benefits to our clients, and it is much easier to reach the required language level. All our classes can be taught online.
We offer one-on-one classes in foreign languages such as English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew, Portuguese, Hungarian, Korean, Vietnamese, Czech, Slovak, etc.
Adaptation of learning pace during the lessons to the student
Focus on the problematic parts ones and skipping the simple ones
Overall adaptation of each lesson to your current mood and state of mind
Help with „homework“ according to the client's requirements
You can change lesson frequency and intensity during the course
School Populo services:

Study materials of School Populo included in the course price
Possibility of „pause“ the classes, for example, when you are going on holiday, on a business trip, or become ill
Coordinator service from 8:00 to 18:00 and excused lessons 24 hours before their start free of charge
Course of tutoring
Each of our future students has the opportunity to take a free placement test. Based on its result, we will recommend a suitable lesson frequency and length. After each lesson, you will receive
information about the lesson's course, the topics covered, and the evaluation of progress via e-mail. Parents and students are also informed about each upcoming lesson via an SMS message, which contains
the lesson date and time and the tutor’s name.
I would like to thank your colleague Phoebe B. for a great course and real knowledge and approach!! I am interested in taking her lessons in the future. I think we are more, who are satisfied, she really knows!! Conversations with her were very effective, and please let supervisors know. Thank you.
My granddaughter started attending tutoring at Populo
Eleanor L., grandmother
My granddaughter started attending tutoring at Populo last year when she was in the ninth grade, and her grades were like on a rollercoaster. The worst was chemistry, and she improved in it a lot. In the second half of the year, we replaced chemistry with Biology and I must say that the progress was evident. In the spring, I arranged a few mathematics lessons for my youngest granddaughter (6th grade), who needed to improve her grades for the report card, and she also improved. It is true that both girls were interested in improving. If there was no interest, it probably wouldn’t be that good. I definitely appreciate the environment – a friendly atmosphere, and tutors who can work with moody teenagers. After each lesson, parents receive on their e-mail an evaluation, but here I have the impression that there is a tendency rather to praise. This year, one of the granddaughters continues attending Populo.
We were very satisfied with chemistry tutoring.
Paige B., mom
We were very satisfied with chemistry tutoring. School Populo provided us with a great tutor who was able to help my daughter with high school chemistry so that she could pass demanding tests and understand the subject. Thank you.
I would like to express my great thanks for preparing me for my high school resit
Simone T., student
I would like to express my great thanks for preparing me for my high school resit, which took place at the end of August this year and which I successfully passed. In particular, I would like to thank my tutor Věra, who paid close attention to me throughout the tutoring and provided me with sufficient materials for home preparation. Thank you very much for the preparation, experience, and pleasant cooperation.
My son and I can confidently recommend School Populo
Andrea V., mom
My son and I can confidently recommend School Populo. From very nice approach and communication to smooth lesson running via Skype. In the end, thanks to the lessons, my son’s 6th grade report card was with cum laude. So, well done!
I would like to thank you all very much for your helpfulness and friendly approach to tutoring our daughter Tina. We will definitely use your services again in the future.
The story of Lucas - Spanish for the little ones
Six-year-old Lucas and I were going on a longer stay abroad, and we wanted our son to learn at least some basics of Spanish. Our boy was in pre-school age, so he couldn't read or write much. Therefore, the classes were approached in such a way that he learned as much as possible. So they prepared a range of fun games, songs, and poems for him, and the tutor spoke only in Spanish. The “total physical response” (TPR) method, which involves the whole body in the lessons and children fix the words by showing them in motion, has also proved very useful. Lucas learned quickly, and we noticed his progress very soon. And because Lucas, of course, had to go to school abroad, we used this method to learn the basics of reading and writing. We were very satisfied, and we can confirm that we really like the individual and intensive approach.
My daughter and I are very satisfied with the tutoring
Leanne T., mom
My daughter started high school and got lost in math from the beginning. School Populo was recommended to us by a school psychologist. My daughter and I are very satisfied, and we intend to continue tutoring until the fourth year.
Tutors of the Italian language proved to be a great benefit for me.
My tutor was friendly and inspiring. She was always amazingly well prepared for the classes as well as for my questions.
My son got an A in English and is highly praised by the teacher
Thanks to the support of the great tutor, Suzanne K., and despite my son having mild learning disabilities, he got an “A” at the end of the school year from English, and the teacher praises him very much. Special thanks go to Mrs. Suzanne K. but also to the whole Populo team.
Hannah is just finishing her first “school year” at School Populo. She’s a graduate of Judaism at Palacky University. As part of her studies, she had the opportunity to travel twice to Israel, where she completed an ulpan course, i.e. an intensive Hebrew course. She is currently studying Jewish philosophy at the doctoral program at the Faculty of Philosophy at University. Hannah enjoys culinary activities in her free time or goes to get energy from the surrounding and more distant countryside.
