English - Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar Tutoring Liverpool
We provide individual, tailor-made English - Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar tutoring.
We will be happy to help you with tutoring also in Liverpool.
We test the student’s knowledge, and using the results of
placement tests and any other requirements, we prepare a study plan, and online tutoring can begin next week.
Tutoring can have a different focus and also length. One lesson lasts 45 minutes, but some people prefer a two-hour
lesson (90 minutes) or even longer blocks. Courses are always individual, so you don’t have to wait for the
course to open. You can start at any time. The course length and lesson intensity depend on you. Some people
choose the so-called „quick help“ in the form of 5 lessons, and others prefer regular semestral or annual
At School Populo, we can ensure regular tutoring, preparation for important exams and certificates, but we can also help with pre-school preparation or preparation for resits. Whether you need help improving your knowledge of the subject for school or work, or just for your own interest, we are here for you.
We help students with complex topics at school or with homework. We will prepare them for ongoing tests or help catch up with missed topics. We can prepare you for SATS, GCSE, A-LEVELS, and other exams.
Together with the methodological centre, our tutors will draw up a study plan for each student and regularly supplement materials for home practice.
Our sophisticated online teaching system offers time flexibility so that you can study from the comfort of your home. Apart from your own computer and connection, you don’t need any special equipment.
Each of our future students has the opportunity to take a free placement test. Based on its result, we will recommend a suitable lesson frequency and length. After each lesson, you will receive
the minutes of the lesson, the topics covered, and the evaluation of progress via e-mail. Parents and students are also informed about each upcoming lesson via an SMS message, which contains
the lesson date and time and the tutor’s name.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank School Populo very much for tutoring my son
Mrs. K., mom
I would like to take this opportunity to thank School Populo very much for tutoring my son. Absolutely perfect cooperation, immediate communication, daily reminders of lessons for the next lesson, and student evaluation sent daily. The tutor Catherine is a very communicative, helpful, empathetic, and a good teacher. My son passed the exam without any problems! Thank you very much, and if we found ourselves in a situation where we needed tutoring again in the future, we would definitely choose this school!
I wanted to thank you for a great tutor. We were very satisfied
Marcella F. and son Matthew
Today we finished online classes with the tutor Mrs. Lily K., and I wanted to thank you for this great tutor. We were very satisfied. My son enjoyed the classes a lot. Mainly he learned a lot and gained the knowledge he lacked, and improved his grades at school. So for us, amazing tutoring, as you say, “tailor-made” :). Mrs. Lily focused on the areas he needed to improve, and we are all very satisfied. Thank you once again.
Many thanks to Miss C. for tutoring Suzanne. If she needs it in the future, we would definitely like to contact you again. She was always looking forward to the lesson. We wish you all the best and, above all, health.
My son got an A in English and is highly praised by the teacher
Thanks to the support of the great tutor, Suzanne K., and despite my son having mild learning disabilities, he got an “A” at the end of the school year from English, and the teacher praises him very much. Special thanks go to Mrs. Suzanne K. but also to the whole Populo team.
I would like to thank you all very much for your helpfulness and friendly approach to tutoring our daughter Tina. We will definitely use your services again in the future.
Andrea B., Mike’s mom
My son is attending high school and started having big problems with chemistry. He found a few tutors, but it didn’t have much of a positive effect. Even if you know the topic, it’s a great art to explain it to someone else. Then I found an ad for School Populo. I must say that the approach surprised me from the beginning. We specify everything and arrange it even via SMS. My son has now successfully completed the school year, and I know that we will continue attending tutoring in the new school year. Thank you.
I would like to thank you for your great help in language education
I would like to thank you for your great help in language education. My son managed to master the languages and hence got straight A’s in the eighth and ninth grades. We believe that even this will help him get accepted to the selected grammar school.
Mark’s story – correction of deficits
Mark was a child, according to the kindergarten teachers, “with no manners”. But everything was a little more complicated. Mark had trouble concentrating because he perceived sequence and succession differently and needed to adjust cognitive function deficits. He was unable to associate his behaviour with the consequences it caused in other people, and he could not select the essential from what he was told. This was then manifested when he had a problem learning the basic number series or understanding that the letters follow one after another according to a given order. Exercises that developed perception, remembering things, and the ability to repeat the exact sequence of what was done were therefore included in the standard teaching of the minimum for enrolment. Rituals and an emphasis on regularity and order were also an important part. Mark made a lot of progress in a month, which many people confirmed. He was admitted to school, and your lessons corrected his deficit and made his first grade start smoother.
I want to thank everyone in Populo very much
I want to thank everyone in Populo very much. We were greatly satisfied. The tutors who taught this school year and are still teaching my daughter are excellent

Economics, French and English language tutor
Joseph was originally an economics engineer. At present, and undoubtedly in the future years, however, he is completely enthralled by the magic of French. The French language is literally beginning to replace his mother tongue, which would not be a big surprise after years of traveling to France, teaching, interpreting, and translating. With a similar passion, Joseph also does English with a focus on economics and law. In his free time, he is a great lover of French literature and good French wine.

In high school, he was passionate about foreign languages, so he went to teach English wherever he could. He gets on well with both children and adult “eternal beginners” and tries to get the most out of everyone in a fun way. Barbara is a student of the University of South Bohemia, the Faculty of Theology, in the master’s program in Philosophy. As a true philosopher (lover of wisdom), she tries to pass on this wisdom to others and helps them develop. She also doesn’t lack the ability to empathize with the needs of others. A tutor simply has to engage and be able to “teach well”, which is sometimes really tricky. Communication between the tutor and the student is equally important. Barbara prefers to spend her time in good company. She likes doing sports – especially fitness, swimming, and cycling.
English language, history and art history tutor
Jane focuses on tutoring for admission and secondary school-leaving exams and supports students in preparing for re-sits. English language teacher
This is Andrew. He likes to learn new things just like everyone else. However, he sometimes feels like he does not know anything, even things he thought he knew. But there would be always something. There is no greater joy for Andrew than to put a smile on someone's face, so he has been acting since he was 10. However, acting is not taught at School Populo, so he had to find another hobby. As a small child, he came into contact with English very often. It was not just a matter of simple communication. He was looking for something hidden in this beautiful language - nooks full of secrets… And he does so to this day.
